Swung in to Hamilton today to check out Westinghouse and then over to Firestone to check out the progress of the demo...

Westinghouse has basically every window boarded up, so light painting ftw!

My shots from Westinghouse are turning out terrible. Seriously need to work on my lightpainting abilities.

I can apparently do low light fine, but there was nothing at all to work with there. Nothing.

Nice pics Zen! I was hoping that building was more interesting inside, it seems so promising from the outside. Scoped it out a few times last summer but it was sealled up tighter than a nun's...

Thanks for doing a lil walk through of the demo. I've been wondering where they where at by now. Shame to see it go like that but I guess it was inevitable, just wish I could have had one more visit before it was all gone.

I went the night before demo began... haven't been back in the area since...

I didn't think it was possible, or that there would be that little of security, that someone would be able to walk through a site, especially mid tear-down

Still not happy with how a lot of the shots turned out, or how much editing I had to do to make some of these usable, but c'est la vie.

The Westinghouse interests me quite a bit. I was never able to get into there due to being sealed up or nosy neighbors. I'll have to take another look soon.

They're on my site because they were not among the better ones I took.

You can see the lighter/darker spots which indicate where my beam swings were... probably using too narrow a beam for the pattern I was doing.

And L'Ali, thanks!

Nice shots guys.

Glad at least a few of the shots showed up, light painting isn't really my cup of tea and as you two know and I neglected to bring a torch into Westinghouse... lol

Felt good to finally get in there though, seems I'm doin the bucket list of GTA locations lately!

Every interior shot was illuminated by my 4 7's since it is all boarded up and almost pitch black inside.
