 Overview
 Description
Looks like a castle, on a smaller scale. The turrets are all still there. You can see where the fireplaces were. All in all, it's neat to imagine what this place must've looked like.

7.31.2023 - Disappears from satellite images sometime between 2012-16.

     History
So far, I haven't found any information about this place. The urban legend was that it belonged to a meth dealer who got busted, then they tore his house apart. There's all sorts of crazy rumors surrounding the place, the wildest I've heard was that the owner was building a moat to go around the castle, and he was getting alligators shipped up from Florida to be put in it when he got caught. I doubt it's true, but it's cool to think about. Either way, if you find any information about this place, feel free to post it.

This was to be the new home of Dr. Leonard Faymore. Dr. Faymore wasn't a meth dealer, he ran a clinic, and pretty much handed out prescriptions like candy. He would continuously refill prescriptions long after they had served their purpose. With little or no examination of the patient (average time spent there was 5 minutes or less), they were prescribed heavy-duty narcotics, painkillers, and barbituates. His "practice" ran all hours of the night and was known to clog traffic on a dead-end road. He was also averaging $20k a day in drug and patient fees.

He was busted in a sting by investigative reporters in mid-1980. His castle was never inhabited and never finished. Construction stopped when he was sentenced to prison in 1982, and the castle sat, all money going to appealing the case. Faymore died shortly after getting out of jail, so nothing more ever came of the castle. It sits, showing wear and only 1/3 finished.

DO NOT TRY TO GET BACK HERE WITHOUT PERMISSION.

The owner has no sense of humor about people being there and will NOT hesitate to prosecute if you do go there. He lives right behind the castle property, and there is a good chance you'll be seen.
