Beautiful brickwork. Damned shame the buildings were mostly torn down.

yes, for sur rain...i got to see them back in april when most were (on the west side) still standing...the buildings were wonderful achitectural works, much nicer to see in person! i'm working on some paintings based on photo's from the site...very haunting ones :)

I should try and eyeball it for its sizes. I'm experimenting with making scale models of buildings and have a whole slew of ideas. When things quiet down for me this winter I believe I will be able to start. Good luck on your paintings.

the copper overhang reminds me of the old jordan marsh stores. anybody remember those?
