the compaq mobo is from a prolinea, i have one as a linux network card emulation instead of a hp jet direct. the other board, looks more like the board from the old 8 inch floppy drives, by the way 5 1/4 i had one on my 486!

You think the first one (silver-ish) is from a 8 inch floppy ! Woaaa , Only seen one in my life !

possibly, by 5 1/4's were used as recently as 486;s like i said, that other board from the prolinea is a rock solid computer, obsolete but wont die
