3 / 10   Interior of hanok

Description
I found a hanok very easily accessible from the back of the building. It seemed to just be used for storage.

Is a hanok an apartment of some sort?

I looked through the rest of the gallery and now know it's not an apartment.

A hanok is a traditional style Korean house. I'm sure long ago it was a house but was converted to storage more recently. In the pictures with all the small houses with the weird rooves, this would be one of them.

All of these buildings are beautiful inside... It's too bad they're being razed to put up more soulless high rises :(
