Look at how far that boat has sunk into the ground... this place is really weirding me out... why would they leave? And only take certain possessions. It's as if they had to load up the car and take off, leave everything else behind.

that motor is fairly new as well. I would beilive it was used in the lst 2 years. The sinking is probably just from all the wet weather. Its to be expected.

Why was everything abandoned in the first place?

Do any of you know how to do a City Directory or Title Serach, to find out who lived there?

Looks like an old Merc. Probably from the early to mid 70's if I'm not mistaken. Used to work on those puppies. Easy as pie to fix.

It could still be owned and just not used, Take me for example, I own a cottage but VERY rarely go to it or use it, but theres a boat there and still stuff in it.

i don't see any identifing number on the boat. but if their was you could track the owner of the boat down that way.

That outboard's very similar to my '69 Merc. Only real difference are the blue lines (mine being red). Looks like a halfway decent boat. If the engine was winterized, it'd probably still be fine!
