For the record, it seems that the plethora of myriad Issues that have kept us from being more active lately (at least as far as updating the site goes) may be preparing to wind down. Within a month or two we should actually have the time and means to get back into the swing of things, UE-wise. I personally apologize for the infrequent updates as of late and would like to reaffirm that, yes, we're all still alive, we're still active, and we still give a damn about the site. Foo!

That said, there is some stuff happening, and maybe I should put this in a News update but what the hell. Mordac, who relocated to England a while ago (and who currently represents the entirety of our overseas presence :D ) has been checking out some abandoned hospitals and train stations, I believe, and he is meeting with a fellow from the Clan in a few days, likely to check out some UK drains (which I desperately envy). He has some photos and will soon have more, and when matched with write-ups we'll be adding them to the site. Of course we'll clearly delimit the pages in question as being Not In Canada. So!

There have been plans roughly made up for a few excursions, such as re-visiting Whitby Psych and MCS, and Asher and I (separately and on two unrelated occasions) roofed Union Station at long last, which I hope to get some photographs of soon. :D

And one other thing -- we get a lot of e-mail about Whitby Psych and most of it is really interesting. I've heard from ex-patients, employees at the old grounds, and people who lived there after it was closed down. I can't believe how many different people have sent us messages regarding one photo or another, telling us that they were responsible for a certain graffito or somesuch. I think that's cool. :D

At any rate, that's the state of things. Yay!

Great site! I wish I'd checked it out sooner. It seems like people have still been going into the malt plant. It's one of my favourite places and I was sad to see that the city has recently made access much more difficult. Is there still a way in?

Feel free to remove my other posts :-)

Anyways I emailed the company, and they claimed it was their COMPETITORS that were doing this guestbook posting.

Wierd, huh?

Yikes. I didn't notice that. I'll remove the ad you're referring to, Av. Of course, you've already posted the URL the guy wants us to visit as well as a link to tons of pages where he's also posted it, but it's the principle of the thing. ;)

What are you, an advertiser for Azentec? I checked out their site, it's not bad, however they dont have a single "sample site" on there, which is ridiculous.

Stop advertising crap here.
