We have explored dozens of buildings and bridges without getting caught. We've had to run or hide several times, but we were doing something stupid to get noticed every time. If you wish to see some of our locations, check the list on http://uer.ca in forums under 'list of adventures' I've told several new and not-so-new explorers how to go about exploring without getting caught, I'll do it again.... 1) Red flashlights or small LED lights only!!! Don't even think of lighting up a room with white light - this means no camera flashes at night either. 2) Queit shoes - not work boots! 3) Try to leave everything exactly how you found it - don't steal, vandalize, or tag anything. Cover up any openings in walls or windows you made to get in. 4) Stop every few minutes and don't make a sound - just listen 5) If you do get seen/heard then find a place to hide and just stay there as long as you can. Most cops (pretty much all of them) won't come in to find you, they can't wait outside all day or night, eventually they'll leave. 6) One person in charge of the entire group, run like a military operation, as quoted by someone else recently "a dictatorship" P.S. think of every building you've ever been in late at night, was there anyone else in there besides your group? We've hidden several times as groups of other explorers have passed us inside a building. I've been in the Malting plant and Whitby Psych several times while others are around, I've even read about your trips inside and knew who you were that passed me in the dark. Did you know that we were there? I've been doing this for years, trust me on this issue.
