Paris Catacombs

There are many carvings in the Paris Catacombs. Some were created a long time ago. Others were created more recently. Stonga showed me this short passage which contained a pair of beautiful carvings. I had seen these before on the Web, but they were beautiful in person. I was very grateful for Stonga's guidance, as I never would have found these on my own.

The second carving. Note the niches either side of it for candles.
