Paris Catacombs
This small alcove houses the Catapult, I think it is a bit of a word play. The room is smaller than it looks in many pictures. The people who painted the Catapult must have had to haul the paint in for mile after mile.
The Catapult
This is me standing in the alcove. There was a nice little shelf opposite here that I was able to stick my camera on. I am carrying a little pocket torch (which I still have) and a map that Stonga thoughtfully provided me. The map was invaluable in navigating the Catacombs. Without it I think I would not have become lost, but I would never have explored to the extent that I did.
