2006 Trip

This year I only was able to get 2 weeks off of work so any trip I did was going to be a short one. When OPEX 86 was announced I figured that well I'm going to make that. Then there was the opportunity to visit Denver and finally meet Chainsaw, an Urban Explorer whom I've had a great deal of respect for. There was also the possibility of finally seeing a missile silo which was about the only aspect of UE that I have not done. Finally the airline people at Qantas said that I could have a stay over in Hawaii for $5 extra on my air fare. As the flight from Sydney to LA is normally 13 hours long I wasn't keen to do that in one go so I said yes to the Hawaiian stay over. It was to be a bust 2 weeks. Two and a half days in Hawaii, another to and a half in Colorado and then seven days in Vancouver.

This trip was to give me the chance to meet some Urban Explorers from around the world. I get a great deal of enjoyment from meeting fellow explorers.
