Bridges
In the industrial heart and docklands of UA City this bridge crosses the mouth of the UA City River. I have always wanted to explore this bridge. Thanks to a friend who works for State Rail I was able to get information that no trains would be running on it one day. I went up to it to take some photographs. I also looked at the nearby rail tunnel.
.
The bridge emerges from a hillside tunnel on the outskirts of UA City.
Detail of train signals
My favorite image of this bridge, the steel superstructure, the river and the port docklands in the background
Metal on metal
A drain on the south east side of the bridge
Port on the north east side of the bridge
Port through the steele
Looking back at the tunnel
Looks forboding, although short
Cutting, bridge, safety holes
It was very dark in the tunnel
Pretty damn cool if I must say so myself
heading back out
Best
