The Fish Tank / Glass House3rd February 2002

This was the first of the really big rooms I encountered. When I first looked at it I realized that I had a major coup on my hands, exploring this place before any other explorer. It was great. It was massive and huge. But what was most amazing was how well lit it all was.

The Massive Glass House room with the Fish Tank in the middle.
The red door on the left leads into the Workshop. The double blue doors lead in to the dark passage and the Exit room. Just to the left of that blue door is a gap leading into the Passport room. The gap on the right leads to more offices.

Glass House.

From the other side of the room

Once again, but with the door into the Server Room visible on the right.

Close up of the Fish Tank and possibly my hand

This is the passage behind the front offices. It is an IBM Controlled area. Apparently I don't have authorization to access it.

What the heck, I'll only be here for a moment.

Power board and those little hatches into the front offices.

Ladder up into the upper floor.

The Server Room

The Server Room. This room once had a raised floor with this space for computer cables under it.
The big machine is a.... something computer related.

Lots of PCBs and strangely a big electric fan motor.

What appears to be a cooling system on the side of the machine above

Lots of cables, a hole in the floor and my shoe.

Another electronic device.

Door back in to the Glass House

Offices off of the Glass House

A strange low door like a fire place

Dark area room

The Dark area - with sticky floor. I wanted to explore it but the noise from my shoes was very loud.

Box of photographic equipment.

A room to the east of the Glass House. The doors lead into the Dark Passage.

Big blue fire doors

More dark area

Hmm - do not operate the floor? Okay.

A small section of the floor had been ripped up

The Dark Passage looking west towards the demolished section

Looking east down the Dark Passage

Hmm, should I be photographing this?
Probably not, but the building will be gone by the time you see this.
