This is a small bunker complex built in the 1870s that is open to the public. It has been restored fully, with old cannons, cannon mountings and power magazine intact. It is open every day up to about sundown when the access road is closed. It is near Bradley Head.
Entry point, the trench on the left runs into the cannon emplacements and bunker
Defensive wall
Kind of silly because you could just rush for the side
It's old folks, 1871
Entry trench to the bunker
just inside the bunker entry. Note the leaf debris
The powder room block house
A restored pair of cannons
Cannon. Note the pulley loops in the wall and the tie back pulley on the rear of the cannon.
1870's Graffiti? It says Armageddon Isaiah. No idea what the latter word means.
