I have my own little mischief of rats. I also have a cat and five ferrets, but pictures of those will be coming later.

The pictures below are of my mischief.

This is Jaquelin and Sullivan. Jaq is the cream hooded and Sully is the Irish Berkshire. This picture was taken a couple days after I got the pair, who were litter sisters, about a year and a half ago. Since then Jaq has passed away and Sully is living with me as an old girl at two years <3

These are the Powerpuff Girls. They're sisters that I adopted, along with their mother, from a rescue after they were seized from a breeder that over bred their mother for feeder rats and treated them all terribly. The black hooded is Buttercup, the Himalayan with her head up is Bubbles and the shier Himalayan is Blossom. I'm guessing their age at between 6 and 9 months solely on their size. Since they're rescues I'm not sure.

This is the Powerpuff mam, Sable. Since she's a rescue I don't know how old she is exactly. She's also a Himalayan.

This is Squiggles, a little 8 week old Variegated Berkshire that my girlfriend and I adopted along with her sister, Scribbles.

And this is Scribbles, a Cardigan.

And this is a random assortment of other pictures.

Sable being curious.

Buttercup being cautious.

Squiggles and Scribbles enjoying some food.

Bubbles being curious with Sable sleeping like a lump in the background.

Along with all of our other critters, we always have rats and mice. My wife works at a nature center that has snakes and such, she is always finding a reason to bring a particularly brave rat or mouse home. They then live out their lives in the lap of luxury.......

I had rats when I was young. The difference between rats and mice is really amazing. The rats actually seemed to have personalities.

We have two rescue dogs Chuck & Buffy. I am feeling sorry for them these days since we had a baby, just can not spend as much time with them.

Me too! They have great personalities....only complaint, the teeth grinding and the need to poop on everything.

In a previous life, my barn cats were on a U-Boat crew.

Last time it was destroyers, this time coyotes. Once again the hunters are now the hunted.

Those two are identical to a pair we had. Our orange one came from a shelter in WV, the grey one I rescued in downtown Cleveland.

The orange cats around here are descended from Chumley who climbed into my truck and adopted me.

The grey cats are likely descended from a Russian Blue cat that also decided to move into to my truck and ride on my shoulder. Can't find a pic of that one though. That was at least 10 years ago.
