| | | Hey everybody, Awhile back, around Christmas, me, CG, and F426 explored a location in the Exchange. We used a broken window that's since been fixed. The place had no power, etc, at the time. It turns out, the place wasn't abandoned, and they were (and are) actively repairing it. Somebody had broken in, and stolen a bunch of tools. I've been helping the owners figure out what happened (originally they'd accused me of stealing, but once they found out who I was they knew that wasn't the case). I'm trying to do everything I can to help them out - they're friends of some of my close friends. It's really shitty that they lost valuable equipment. So, just wondering, does anybody know anything about the situation? I don't want to name the location publicly, but it's a closed-down bar in the exchange. If anybody has any sort of information about what happened (who broke the window, who stole the tools, etc.), that'd be awesome. Also, I know other explorers besides us had been there. Somebody had sat at one of the tables and had a beer. Whether they are the same ones who broke the window and took the tools, I don't know. But if anybody has information, please contact me. And finally, please don't mess with the place! The owner is a cool guy, but he's had enough shit lately. If we could do something nice for him, that'd be awesome.

| How public can this go? I know a lot of people who are also close to the place, should I bother asking them? Not saying they should publicly ask who did it or announce the incident, but I could ask a few people if they personally know anything about it.
| I'm new and interested in getting out and around; message me if you want to explore. Also, check out my flickr by clicking on the house beside the colorful envelopes. |

| | | Posted by ACA83 That's great. But did you run to them saying HEY GUYS IVE GOT A GREAT STORY! Or were they actively working on a piece on urban exploration, and you wanted them to get the right idea? If it's anything but the latter, you're probably looking for attention and probably shouldn't have done that.
| And another thing, iagox86, nothing personal but remember the post you very well requested to be removed because that's how they found you in the first place? That's what I'm talking about guys and gals... How about we start being more cautious all together? Another thing (which I have sometimes been guilty myself of) is "name" dropping, even if it is just someone's UER user name. I know we don't think about this but it just dawned on me. Saying stuff like, "me, R426 and...." and naming out every person that was there, isn't cool. I appreciate what you did to try and calm everything down but at the same time, I know I would be kinda skeptical about naming every other explorers that was at a place which I took it upon myself to show them. I think all of this could have been avoided if more caution was used. No hard feelings, a few lessons learned and a friendly remind to always be aware of our surroundings
