| | | Posted by Jono! My favorites change from week to week..lol...here goes - The Master and Margarita (Bulgakov)
| Am I the only one who found that book murder to get through? It was like hiking uphill with concrete boots on! But i do own it.....lol, the irony. Maybe my translation is just bad. My list of faves: (it changes with the wind, lol) -Ender's Game (loved it since i was in grade 4) -Wuthering Heights -Animal Farm -Neverwhere -Hottentot Venus -Poisonwood Bible -Outlander and the others from that series (I can't help it!!! *is ashamed*) -Household Gods -Everything Is Illuminated -Oryx and Crake -The Blind Assassin (good old atwood) -Brave New World (Love speculative dystopias) Man, so many more, I can't even remember I'll modify this list as they come to mind.

| | | Although I have lots and lots of favourite books I'm lucky enough that my all time favourite is easy to figure out. Thomas Pynchon - Gravity's Rainbow A long, sometimes confusing, often funny, surprisingly profound read. Pynchon is a little known genius who has influenced scores of writers, including... Matt Ruff - Sewer, Gas and Electric UE, humour, philosophy and all sorts of other stuff all rolled into one hell of a sci-fi. Those two pretty much crown my fiction list, but boy is that a long list. As for non fiction that's harder to quanify. The one that's made the biggest difference in my understanding and outlook on the world and life recently is... Robert Moore - King, Warrior, Magician, Lover A Jungian psychology book about the mature masculine archetypes and how to access them. And I'll stop now. Don't get the guy who spent 6 years studying literature and philosophy started...
