| | | Posted by rainman8889 Oh crap, taking my pills for one. Two, the building I work at now, I remember the area very well when there was nothing but farmland. Three, talking to a delivery driver about something that happened when I was in my first year of college and he commented "I wasn't even born then" (the guy was 20 yrs old). Four, talking with my niece about her college (she's in her second year now) and helping her with a history project.
| Indeed. Pills...everyday until I'm dead.

| | | The language used by people today. When I was growing up something was either "cool" or it was "lame". Today it's just got to be WIN, EPIC WIN, FAIL, EPIC FAIL, SNAP, PHAT, LUL, LOLCAT, ROFLCOPTER, SICK, or BAD. It's difficult to keep up with the bastardized language the young 'uns are using these days. I find that with brief visits to 4chan, I can familiarize myself with the lingo. They must be short visits though or I'll lose my mind.

| I'm pretty sure bad went out of fashion a good decade or more ago. What ever happened to radical? Radical was, well, radical.

| | | Right now...I'm 20 days from turning 35. I haven't slept more than four hours a night in like 5 days, this is making me feel very very very old. 15 years ago, I could have done this standing on my head, now, I'm sitting here, waiting for afternoon to come just so I can go take a nap. I'm having a very hard time coming to the conclusion that I'm not 20 anymore and with work, it's becoming very very very apparent. Extremely apparent and it just keeps getting worse. Shael

| | | I got my hair cut the other day, quite a bit of it cut off...the stylist asked me if I wanted to make an appointment for a dye job to get rid of the gray stripes I have. Until I had my hair cut, like 8 inches off, I didn't even see the gray hair. Now, I look in the mirror and it's there, staring at me. Almost taunting me, screaming, "Get a bottle of the shit you put in your mom's hair...or else we're here for good." It must be lack of sleep that's making me really pissed about this. When I turned 30, nothing bothered me about it, 35 is a different story all together. The hair appointment just made it worse. When the hell did I get old and how did I miss it? Shael

| I hate that I have to keep a GOOGLE page open to figure out the text message I just got Posted by Samurai you know another signpost of my advancing years? Texting. what gives? Instead of spending 5 minutes punching keys, why not dial the fucker up and say what's on your mind?

It is just us. Most of the younger folks (yup I typed FOLKS, sign I am old) can text just short of max message before we can even read the whole text. | I am keeping every one of those grey hairs! I earned them and they are mine. Ya know like the trophies and letters earned as a teen. I worked hard for them and will display them proudly!

| A mirage is not an optical illusion. It is a real phenomenon, and one can take photographs of it. The interpretation of the image, however, is up to the fantasy of the human mind. |
