had the windows tinted on my Cruze yesterday. I think it looks nice. I'm sure most of you will shit on it because it's a Chevy Cruze.
And the other pic is of my friend Dave and I Cruze whoring. He loves his '11 RS.

Gotta say I like the look it's got going. That little strip of chrome they put on the belt line works really well on these.

when I head to tennessee the 8th, a friends' body shop is going to do the Chevy SS stripes on the hood and decklid (like my old Cobalt) and I was thinking of having this done on the side (it's a concept car treatment I found on deviantart.com) in the same metallic silver as the SS stripes. Also, i did find an Eibach spring kit for the car to drop it and take up that wheel gap.

I like that. Simple graphics have always been best if you are going to do them. I try to forget the 80's and 90's

You coming down 81?

The Chevy Lacetti was actually a pretty good car on the track.

Its not about racing, its about the low tier quality of the product and your climate, youre springs will rust out and break, or if you decide to remove them and sell them all of them will be a different height after a years use lol

it's about how much money i am going to blow on a car versus my home. Once I do all this fun stuff to my car, the car probably will never see snow, salt and sand again. See, you're not thinking, just assuming that everyone drives their car in the shit 8 months out of the year.

I've had Eibachs in my Bug for 7 years and they're absolutely fine. Have them in my winter beater as well and they seem to be surviving, and I use that poor car as a truck.

just returned from my trip to Tennessee and here are impressions of the whole thing... first off, my Cruze got 44mpg down and back (Verified with a little math ;) ) and that was running 70-75mph down and 80+mph back with the A/C on. Next off, southerners are really unhealthy and for the most part, live up to their cliches. Interstate 81 and Interstate 40 are trainwrecks for traffic. My last trip down it in 2005 didn't have a quarter the traffic I saw this trip. Truckers seemed to be the worst offenders.

Now the happy happy joy joy? I ran my Cruze over Tennessee Route 30 towards Dayton... It's a road that's right out Initial D and the car was competent. The tires, however, were giving up when i pulled the trigger coming out of the corner. My friend Ray was a little pissed at me because I didn't like riding in his Corvette... In my opinion, 700hp (dyno'ed) supercharged LS1 + Corvette = death for Samurai. I was afraid of his Mustang... this car terrifies me. He dropped into 3rd gear and punched it and the violence that happened was amazing. The speedo sweep to 150 was something that belonged to a jet fighter being thrown off a carrier deck. Way too much for yours truly... he says it's not enough. (facepalm).

Bandi sent me this, as I'm getting ready to go to work (auto parts industry, now in a small redneck town - with sexism so blatant that after as many years as I have in the industry, I'm still going WTF)

But, one thing that always confuses me, is the 'car babe'...
