Try to get at least 10 bullets and 2-3 shotguns, make sure they're loaded. The first time I went out for a kill, I ran out of ammo with the guy with only 6hp left.

Well, Special Edd got killed by a zombie, I'll have him move up to Pegrum Place and see if any of y'all wants to revive him.

I'm out of action points right now, but I'll work on getting there in the next few days.

Scratch that 'hoow' account, I'm creating a new character now that I know a little more about the game.
One question though, how do I NOT get killed while I'm waiting for more action points?

You have to chill out in a building that's secured, so find one near the end of your turn (when you only have a few points left).

Most buildings I see are barricaded :\ Ah well, I'll keep trying!

You can enter a barricaded building, even a Very Strongly Barricaded one - as a human.

As for bringing back zombies, my character has about 50XP so I'll need one or two more days or so to get the 75XP and be able to use Necrotech syringes to revive zombies - but we have a Necrotech building within 3 squares of the police dept. so I have a few syringes already, I just need the skill.

Sweet action, I've made it to Lamport Hills Rolls Road Police Dept. (42 moves away from Pegrum Place Police Dept) I also had a few moves left to search the building and I found my shotgun along with an extra shell and an extra flack jacket... excellent!


edit: Holy crap... I just loaded my zombie character "brain fart" - the one who was dead to begin with and someone revived him! Thats nuts since he supposedly woke up in a grave at the begining of the game and now has a beating heart. He's totally vulnerable right now as a human.

I'm 52 moves away from Pegrum Place PD, armed to the teeth. I'm going to strike out again today to try to get a little closer, and hopefully be able to find a nice place to rest up before the final march to Pegrum Place tomorrow. I'm currently held up in Cowing Way Police Dept in Pegton.

What have people found is the best way to get XP?

As far as I can tell, do whatever your character was meant to. For me since I'm a soldier it is to kill zombies. For a consumer loot stuff, scientist extract DNA, medic heal people and zombie kill people. Or something like that.

Exactly, and Firemen are the best civillian class to be, since you start with a 25% axe that does 3 damage and no need to reload.

My scientist, on the other hand, has only 5% with a pistol and 10% with a gun - And it's smarter for me to upgrade another scientist skill before anything else.

WATCH OUT - I've seen 20 zombies around Grimstead Boulevard Police Dept [57, 7] so I'm hold up in Gainard Place Police Dept [58, 5] - If I were you, I'd try to shack up here or more North, like Fenwyk Plaza Police Dept [57, 1] (I don'T know what's going on up there but chances are it's better than 14 zombies in one building next to you and 1-2 zombies in all others ([57, 7]).
