Just a note - there is a PK group active in the Dulston suburb where we are basing ourselves. They claim to only attack survivors below 50% health, or those who attack them, first. FYI.

That sounds friendly... goddamn PK'ers. I recently made a third character... although Lu Thatcher is the only one headed to the UER group. "Alan Shaeffer" and "Mario and Luigi" will be doing there own thing elsewhere, and I guess can be counted as allies if your in there area. (which is like on the other freaking side of the map).

Use this map...

http://www.jonatha...andead/mapping.php

To figure out where you are. We are going to be meeting in the suburb called Dulston, which is in the top right corner of the map. In Dulston, we plan on meeting up at the Pegrum Place Police Dept, which is in the bottom section of the map of Dulston. From there, it's loot, pillage, and de-zombify the area.

I'm currently in Gibonston at St. Arnold's Hospital, fairly well secured until I gain back enough APs to continue onward. I passed a horde of 17 zombies trying to get into a hospital a few neighbourhoods to the south. Yikes!

i attacked a zombie with mixed results. i was hurting it, but for some reason, i kept missing and i was running out of ammo and action points, so i hid in a warehouse with a few other military guys.

slowly but suredly making my way up to you guys.

This game does lack a little bit in the media environment - so I strongly recommend playing this tune as loud as possible while hacking zombies:

I have a Char. only half a dozen spaces from you. WATCH OUT - I've seen 20 zombies around Grimstead Boulevard Police Dept [57, 7]

Oh no! You were right. I got seriously attacked by zombies even while inside a building with plenty of other humans. I ran as far as I could but now I'm all alone in the Chancelwood Rodges Stadium with only 28 HP left and lots and lots of zombies outside! I may need to be revived before I get to the hideout.

Beryl- I'm at the Bucknall Motel in Chancelwood and making my way over to Dulston. I logged in 1 minute ago and I've got 0 Ap and someone gave me headshot and I lost 10 XP . Now he's lying on the ground.

My other character is a consumer-turned-zombie and was hanging around Grimstead Boulevard Police Department . I logged in to find that he had been revivified and then killed again while I was away.

My permanent zombie character was revivified while I was away so I jumped off a building.

I love this game. I've been playing it since very early on. Both my characters are maxed out as humans and are currently participating in the liberation of Shearbank from the "Democratic Armed Republic of Independent Suburbs" (a.k.a. a bunch of PK-ing goons from the somethingawful forums).

To really get the maximum out of this game, you have to pay attention to the In-Character Yahoo group and to the unofficial forums, although unfortunately the best of the latter disappeared off the net yesterday and has been replaced by several competing forums, none of which has organized into a critical mass yet. The metagaming adds a tonne to the experience.

This looks to be the forum that will gain traction as the centre of external game discussion, roleplaying and meta-ing: http://udsb.proboards50.com/index.cgi

I'm leaving for Colorado tomorrow (during which I'll be seeing some sweet ghost towns) so I will be gone from Urban Dead for about a week. Just in case anyone started to wonder why I disappeared...

Lu Thatcher
(why is my guy the only one with a normal name?)

Almost there... currently hiding out in St Seraphim's Hospital in the Pashenton suburb. Almost killed a zombie along the way, but was a tad bit low on AP and booked it to the hospital.
