| | | Cool, man. I'd like to see it when it's done. Is it a real Impala, or a clone? I love those cars, but they're a pain in the ass under the hood, since the windshield extends over part of the engine. I helped a friend put an LT1 out of a wrecked ImpalaSS into his '95 Caprice. Probably one of the worst wrenching experiences of my life. Can't remember how long it took, but it was way too long. In my '77 Caprice, I can (and have) pull the engine, replace gaskets or whatever, and have it in and running in under 24 hours. The frames are almost identical. There's a dent on the inside of the right front frame horn for radiator hose clearance even though it's no longer needed on the '91-'96.
