Hey everyone!

Sadie is FINALLY home and thank you all so much for thinking about us all during the past few weeks.

Sadie is home and finally on her way to a full recovery. We just have to keep her home for 8 more weeks - then she can finally feel the sun on her little face for longer than 3 minutes.

All i have to say about this whole experience is that as a parent, if you have a feeling about your kid - a feeling that no on else will listen to - follow your gut. And remember that you know your kid better than any doctor ever would.

I would never wish what happened to us to my worst enemy. It was hell - but thank god everything worked out okay. I swear, I'll donate to the March of Dimes forever now. There are so many sick babies - so much sicker than Sadie ever was. And so many parent's have no money to pay for their kid.

Speaking of - our insurance company denied our claim for 6 out of the 12 days she was at the children's hospital in Chicago. Even if you think you have good insurance, it will bite you in the ass.

Anyway - thanks again to everyone for thinking of Sadie. It meant a lot to us.

in regards to the insurance issue, if you press the issue and show up to the agents office, or call and demand to speak to someone with power, im pretty sure it will be in your favor. I have seen this type of thing happen on many a day.

He came out perfect, didn't even look like an alien for one second. Yeah, he's short, but so is half his family tree. Still floored by "Do you want to terminate?" Dear God, get to KNOW your patients before opening your cake-hole.

has not been sick for about 3 weeks. found out 2 weeks ago its a girl!

and bought her some close for the first time yesterday. I never thought I would be doing that.

Isn't that wonderful? I had the tv remote on my stomach and my daughter booted it right off one night.

everyone i know is having or had a girl too - i thought there were more boys born than girls.

i sooooooooooooo wish i made a video of sadie kicking inside of me. i regret that now. and miss it a lot.
