I hate Halloween. Ever since I became an adult I hated it. I decided to completely give up on it a few years ago. Due to social pressures I participated last night.

One of the things I hate about Halloween is the overwhelming attempts to be sexy. I don't know why, but some things have always revolted me. Jewellery revolts me. When someone asks me to help them with an earring, I will, but I have to hold back my gag reflex the whole time. I have a similar reaction to people trying to be sexy. It revolts me.

Anyhow, so I put up with the women I am hanging out with. The are wearing next to nothing. One was wearing a dress that didn't cover her ass and decided not to wear underwear. Still, I put a few beers into myself and we joked and had fun.

Then we decided to go off to another party. We split up into different cabs. I was in one with this one gal who I was previously getting along with (likely because I could walk away when she would talk about how hot she was), until the cab ride. She was so insulting to the driver the whole time. She was making loud comments about how he was stupid. When I tried to change the subject she made the comment that he was so stupid he couldn't understand her insults anyway. She then proceeded to abuse the guy with comments about how she is likely covered with bedbugs from his cab and so on. So, after a 15 minute ride she paid the guy and when she left I double paid him for the insults, and then proceeded to immediately get separated from the group and high tailed it to a subway station and off to home I went.

I think the only conclusion I can draw is that people who think they are sexy are awful. Everyone seems to think they are sexy on Halloween, so they are all awful and I shant leave my house on Halloween again.

The terrible thing is that I now have a reputation for this. Last night before we left to get the cab I was repeatedly informed I was not to disappear. It is not like I want to hate society, it is just so hateful.

Well, my point stands. I hate it when people ruin perfectly good nights, but as a lover of Halloween I'm saddened by your lack of spirit. Not all of us take it as a reason to be "slutty" or "sexy". Besides, there's a difference between trying to be "sexy" and trying to be "presentable". I personally don't see how jewelery revolts you, as it's not a matter of "sexy" - it's a matter of just being presentable.

Halloween is basically the inverse of international women's day in my book. The one and only day of the year it becomes socially acceptable to dress up like a whore and get screwed by fratboys.

When it comes to Halloween, I love dressing up in fun costumes! Even when i was a size 3 I still never did the slutty thing on Halloween. I don't mind dressing up for work or treat or treating or even an occasional Halloween party. i'm not one to go from bar to bar on Halloween is boring as Hell.


When I was in my 20's we went out Halloween night. My friend was dressed as Dorothy from The Wizard of Oz. She made a really great costume & made all the characters. I was the good witch. Anyways, My friends dress was amazingly short & she decided not to wear panties. The girl got so trashed that she was dancing with this guy & they started grinding. Yeah, So basically the whole dance floor got a free show & the bouncers asked her to leave!

I don't get the whole slutty outfit thing either!

I got so pissed off at haloween I ditched a party and a club to go play video games and eat double bacon pizza with my friend in his basement. So don't think you were the only one hehe.

I have nothing against it for kids. I think it is for kids and I think it is great for kids. I loved Halloween when I was a kid. Loved it. Also, if I had a kid, I am sure I would love it again. It is just the adult version that I am not so fond of.

When I told them that they would have to buy something one started to yell in my face. I told her to stop or she would have to leave the property. Her friend had to calm her down.
