| | | Posted by fedge When you take a nice, long shower then after an hour or so later you have to poop, making the whole shower a wasted effort because you may as well shower again.
| <sigh> Fedge, how many times we gotta tell you, drop the pants and underwear FIRST, squat on the toilet and let it go? Remember: 1) Drop pants and underwear 2) Squat with your butt aiming into the toilet 3) Let 'er rip! Darn kids, never listen.

Pull the battery out and let it dry. I dried my old cell phone with a hair dryer and it kept working for a few more months. I haven't tried the bowl of rice trick, but I've heard that'll work, too, since it draws out the moisture.
| I still want a new one anyway. I don't dare hold onto one that's been drenched just in case it shorts out when I really need it. Bill, my coworker, did the same thing. His lasted about a week after he dried it out before it shorted out. So with work and union business, I'll just stick with the Razr until I can get the LG touch screen one I want next week. Already ordered it yesterday, it should be in like the end of next week. Replacement was only like 100 bucks. Thankfully. I was just pissed I lost my calendar, phone numbers and notes. I just wish I'd copied all of that stuff into my moleskine before it happened. It's replaceable, but just a pain in the ass. It's the only contact number that fellow employees and union officers have for me if they need me or have questions, so it's important that I have one that I can rely on. I don't like using my parent's phone for union business, if I can help it.
