Yes indeed.

Here's a guy who's just got some awesome talent. I had the chance to go and see him and his band this year, but had to work unfortunately which was a real pissoff.

Dig Steve Miller.

I wasn't a fan of Elvis before I met my wife. But this guy really earned his place in history............This is from 1957.

It's funny because that's not the first time someones told me that their "better half" has got them listening to Elvis, nor will it probably be the last heh.

I actually find myself liking Elvis more and more as the years pass.

Here's the man with some other dude named Frank Sinatra...whoever that is.

Very cool seeing The Chairman, and The King together.

Check out this guitar solo, this guy has all the talent in the world.
The only thing he lacks is that voice that Gilmour also uses to great effect.

Jesus...that Petrucci solo was nasty!

Although John ripped that solo up, he's no David Gilmour of course. I mean Gilmour was putting out Floyd albums when Petrucci was knee high to a duck.

Axl is by far one of the best frontmen, especially during the mid to late 80's and early to mid 90's there's no doubt about it.

They're one of those bands that kind of seem beyond liking or disliking for me - just part of the landscape or the furniture

Love the Supertramp buddy! I'm a huge Roger Hodgson(sp?) fan.

Although Supertramp was still putting out good albums after Hodgson left in the late 80's/early 90's they've never been the same since he left in my honest opinion. Hogdson was the voice of supertramp and when you take that away, it's not really supertramp anymore. I mean yes there was also original vocalist Davies up until they dis-banded in 2003 i believe, but come on he's no Hodgson in my books.

How about this? Classic tune by a classic band.

Anybody listen to the crack rock steady genre? (Morning Glory, Choking Victim, Leftover Crack, etc) Basically ska-punk. (Though some stupid assholes call it 'death ska.')
I've just gotten into it, and I quite like it. Torrenting both of Morning Glory's albums at the moment.

Yeah, but Sublime is more of a kickback to the first wave, more Jamaican influence. Still though.

Good god. I thought I was finally rid of that after they stopped airing GEM plumbing commercials

Did GEM Plumbing use the 867-5309 song in their adverts?

Here's one from a few years back........I never get tired of this one.

That 867-5309 is a classic tune and one that i will always somehow remember the lyric to. And haha i forgot about Stacey's Mom, but still a good tune though.

Never heard of those Banditos, but their sound is cool. I'll definitely look into them.

So i heard this song and i think it's pretty good. I was only familiar with their older stuff, but i'm glad they've been working on a new album finally.

I guess I'll have to say it again.....FUUUCK!!!!!!

Those guitar players are intense, I wish my fingers and brain would go that fast.

As for the Refreshments, way cool sound. They remind me of the Replacements, and Goo Goo Dolls.

Yeah DF is just insane.

I never heard that Goo Goo Dolls track before, but me likey! Was looking them up on wiki and i couldn't believe that song was from 1995. I do really like that John Rzeznik alot though...he's got a good voice and can play one helluva guitar. He's just an awesome multi-talented musician.

I'd like to take it back some years here with this one. How fucking high do you think these guys were? Hahahaha especially the lead singer/organ player/flute player.
