My grandfather on some Buick he used to have, had one of those and he joked that because it was so long, he always knew he was going 58 MPH!

My grandfathers LTD has one, only goes up to 80MPH and the needle waves at you sporadically.

What's fun is to bury the needles in them.

those cars took massive beatings and lived... bring back FWD cars that will do that again.

i briefly had an 89 Dodge Shadow ES Turbo sedan... it was so rotten, i never drove it legally.
Me fit 9 people in my friend Appleseeds' 91 Sundance.
we weren't in comfortably, but we were in the car completely.

Just yesterday had an 89 Sundance in the shop with 380,000km's
still running. a little beat but still lots of life left in her

Oh man, memories. My brother's first car was a two door '93 Plymouth Sundance Duster, dark green, power bulge hood, spoiler, gold 'Duster' and racing flag stickers all over it.

It died shortly before I got my license, I think I only drove it once, but that little bugger was quick. We also had a 4 door for a parts car...And a housekeeper at work drives a Shadow.

I watched the parts car get crushed, but dad sold my brother's.

I remember going fishing in that car once, we had to lay the back seat down and have the rods laying lengthwise up the car, they nearly touched the dashboard
