The Mazda 3 is for 18-25 year old females with Bench hoodies and fake tans that listen to Kesha.

hrm... the more I'm reading the more I'm leaning towards a couple year old Mazdaspeed3...

I thought they were cool, until I tried to sit in one. it's really cramped and uncomfortable for anyone over 6ft.

Posted by yokes
Doesn't the Impreza have AWD already? (maybe I'm mis-reading you)

hes saying its not a WRX in disguise, but Sam's wrong, you can get the standard 2.5 NA or a WRX Turbo in the 9-2x Aero... either will handle well so its really picking between power or mileage

Is it more cramped than the regular Mazda 3? I'm 6'4" and I fit in it pretty fine.

Should I even bother looking at the 9-2X if I'm looking at the Impreza? Are they similar enough that I don't have to worry about Saab no longer existing?

I'm gonna throw one of those oddball cars I fell in love with but basically meet none of your requirements (hey, a CVPI was on here so what the hell). A early to mid 90's Mazda MX-3. From the southern states so its not a pile of rust. I don't know why, but I absolutely loved the 93 I owned, and had zero issues with it. Plus it got great mileage and was fun to drive.

THanks for the suggestion, Dave. I think, though, that I'd like something a little newer and under warranty. The newest one available in my province that I can find is 1993... and I really don't want to import a car.

While I don't like that the R32 is an automatic, it does look like a fun car to blast around in.

you obviously haven't driven a mk5 r32 to say that. it's immensely fun. I thought that too, till I drove one.

It is fun because its driver has the satisfaction of knowing they arent driving a cobalt.
