Someone on here posted a while back about how upscale car dealerships (maybe it was Porsche, I don't remember) would give away Yugos with each car purchased. And most people still refused them.

This is sort of like that.

Oh good, my slow clap processor made it into this thing.

when you see cars like this with high price tags what that generally means is two things:

1)they know nothing about cars and feel that because it's a fuel sipping compact, a premium can be charged because of the current state of fuel prices.

or

2)they purchased the car and got raped on either the asking price or interest rate and need to get that much for it just so they can get out from under it.

an 11 year old Cavalier base sedan with almost 150,000 miles on it should not be going for $3200... that right there is at best an $1800 car private sale or maybe $2500 on a fly-by-night indy lot.

I know someone who paid about that for a '98 Cavalier that needed a subframe and brake lines. About a year ago.

Didn't notice those before - they'd make nicer second set of rims than Steelies.

I found the 3rd gen cars were pretty bad for it, but I was at a GM dealership so I saw the worst of the worst. Ditto with early Saturns. Holy fuck those things like to rust where they aren't plastic.
