Only posts I saw on these forums as a Basic Member was the story about the stranded teens a few years ago. Has anyone besides me been there? Its huge & definitely spooky as hell. I have a few pics I'll add when I get home but none of the interior of the 2 main buildings YET1.

Here in NY at least, no one is really big on pseudonyms. So far, the sites I've been to are "on the radar" that people have known about & don't try to hide it. Most people list it as they see it & I know its a well known spot, thats why I was surprised it didn't turn up much in the results.

I've been wanting to check this place out for a while now. Unfortunately it's quite a drive from where I am, and my car eats through premium gas.

I don't know what you are talking about man. Personally I have been exploring for like a decade now and have never even heard of this place.

Did it just close?

You probably won't get any results searching for KPSH, because it's an incorrect acronym.

The untouched time capsule like morgue at Edgewood is so hard to get to but so worth it. I was just there last night spending hours looking at 25 year old brain samples as well as hanging out in the "records room" in the basement. There has to be thousands of patient files there!

KPSH is an older name for it & yes the s does stand for state. From what I read on it, it changed names a few times.

You can see straight through to the other side. Its a double sided drawer. Ive taken shots from both sides & they are identical except for the graffiti

Where did you find those relics? 93 or the laundry building?

Also, on some of the sewer/tunnel covers its still imprinted KPSH. Other are city sewers & are branded differently. I have yet to see a cap with its most recent name

Likewise.

I did have a look around a few years back, though. I was impressed. Watch out for 5-0 though, we aren't the only ones who frequent the place.

On another note, did any of the campus flood during Sandy?

do you know how to waltz?
