The Urban Adventure Site

Nubrick 2nd February 2001.

Located in the industrial heart of UA City, the Nubrick brick yards is HUGE! The place is great. It has about six major buildings and four minor ones.

Admin

At the end of the main shed is the administration buildings. These consist of a big two story building and a smaller converted house. Sadly the two story building was completely gutted when we looked at it, with walls torn out and destroyed. Fiber glass and wall material were scattered all around. In the space between our first and most recent visit (about a month apart) several more walls were ripped out.

Approaching the admin building from the main shed

Looks sorry eh.

Outside of the admin building. When I first visited this place, all of the windows were intact.

The interior has been very badly vandalized

Looks even worse inside - walls have been ripped out and a wrecked photocopier lays on the floor.

Entire walls ripped out

The place has been gutted

Stairs removed

Though some nice graff added

Holes in walls, graf, mess. It is a pity idiots feel the need to destroy these places

The lower floor is totally trashed

Looks like a tornado hit the place

Office equipment, with many microfiche files on the floor and a pabx machine

Pabx remains

remains of the office a few months later

The converted house was mostly intact and had all sorts of electronic equipment lying around included computer parts, a pabx system, commander phone control panels, cables, old reel to reel computer storage tape and more.

Id displays a notice as he stands behind an upright pabx exchange and computer parts.

Coke Machine building

I think this small building was once a sort of cafeteria or recreation room with showers and wash rooms attached. The best part about this building was the intact coke machine until some bastards trashed the machine. It would have been a great little thing to have in your lounge, bet we never had the means of moving it anywhere.

These walls were once fully intact.

Graffiti

I don't particularly approve of graffiti, as most of it is just really crap tags, but some pieces are artistic. The Brick works has some nice graf in it.

Hidden Lady

It's the end of the world..... .....and I feel fine

Dark pieces

Stunning piece, I was really impressed by this the first time I saw it. It is far more impressive in real life.
