Brickworks

UA City seems to have been built by brick. Now that modern building methods are employed the bricks are no longer in such great demand. The city has no less than four separate abandoned brick works, and two still in use. Most bricks these days are imported from other parts of the State or even from overseas.

This is the biggest brick works in the city, so big that it requires 5 full web pages to give it justice. From the massive main shed, to the heights of the gantry or the depths of the quarry, this is the largest still existing abandoned industrial site in the city.
