The Urban Adventure Site

Nubrick 2nd February 2001.

Out behind the brickworks is a few more big sheds, including one that I nicknamed the 'Hanger' because you could easily park an airplane in it, well you could if they took all those damn bricks out. Behind everything else is this huge quarry. A massive hole in the ground, with (believe it or not) cliffs of bricks along side it. The lake in the bottom of the quarry is filled with rain water with a small pump mounted on a raft occasionally emptying the quarry. Keep an eye out for the floating tires and drowned bicycle.

Hanger

The only image I have of the hanger building

Middle buildings

These are a series of buildings in the complex. I'm not sure of their purpose. They now contain a lot of rubbish and trash.

Water logged building, possibly a loading bay

Junked stuff

Small office with fridge

junked computer or pabx

Piles of trash, including 3 non working CB radios

The stairway from hell. It is rickety as shit, with the upper landing missing totally.

But we still went up it

Because up the top was a comparatively intact room

Stairway from hell again

Profits are just not up where we want, I think we're going to have to shut this place down.

Quarry.

Behind the brick works is a huge hole in the ground where clay was dug up to create the bricks.

The quarry, complete with giant tires

Zoom in to the quarry. The blue thing is a dumpmaster. This whole area floods quite regularly

Standing on the lip of the Quarry
