I love the car phone inside. Really adds a dash of class.

Oh good, my slow clap processor made it into this thing.

Does anybody know Subies well enough to comment on the rot on this one? In my eyes, it isn't horrible at all and could last a couple more years.

http://philadelphi...to/5266825822.html

I'm seriously considering checking this out this week while I'm in Philly.

Edit- I'm not looking at it as a resto project... I'd like to get a year or two out of it before the rot totally takes over. I'm definitely not at the asking price either.

that rot is nothing compared to how bad it SHOULD be for a Subaru of that vintage. Pretty rare car and I am actually jealous. I'd own that thing!

Looking at it this morning... he sent me a bunch of pics. It's leaking oil like crazy. I'm feeling a sub $2k offer. No service records either.

That's the automatic rust proofing system. It's not a flaw, it's a feature.

Yeah how do you think it survived so long , plus you never have to change the oil just dump more in and change the filter once and awhile .

Northeast PA, maybe a half hour north of Scranton. I work in Philly, so I'm in the city about 2 or 3 days every week.

Did he have any idea where the oil was leaking from? (And don't say "the engine.")
