Maybe we should do a stickers thread...

I liked the web series and bought some of their swag and Alpinestars are the only motocross boots that fit my feet right.

I love the roadside amenity stickers. Three things essential to those traveling by Volkswagen: food, rest, and a VW-certified service center.

Oh good, my slow clap processor made it into this thing.

Cause it's a real z28. There was a 70 chevelle burnt like that over behind my buddy's house sat since the 80's but I never was interested in it cause I didn't think it was worth anything . Then another friend of mines father bought it after trying for ten years . Turns out it was a one owner SS 454 with a Muncie 4 speed, He picked it up for 2500. If anyone is interested I'll find the pictures I took of it.

I have a German flag sticker on my car because it's built in Mexico. (Gives the suspension more road feel.)

And a Nürburgring sticker because I've never been there. (Helps with handling a bit.)

And yes my car is filthy in those photos.

I was thinking the same thing! I love the wide variety of interior colors you could get back then. Try walking into a dealership today and ask for a green interior!

Car is near mint and will be scrapped. Our laws are sick. If it was a Crown Vic or Sable I'd be posting this from Cell Block D The Beetle is safe, easy year to ID.

Cool stickers. Speaking of 'ground' effects; I thought maybe the Nurburgering was like a German In 'N Out Burger...

Back in the very early nineties, my dad's neighbor had an 84 or 05 Chevy pickup that had the 250 I-6 in it with a three speed manual. The truck was a shortbox 2wd and terribly gutless. Bruce (the neighbor) had gotten hold of a 72 Sedan deVille and wanted to pull the 472 V8 out of that and stuff it into the Chevy... well dad agreed to the project and built the truck. To say it was homicidally quick was an understatement. They had to put four feet of rubber on each side of the axle to get it to hook, otherwise it would sit and smolder the tires. I had a tiny Pinto shift sticking out of the floor, and Bruce had consulted what was then the only Caddy V8 tuner in North America for a parts list and so go-fast goodies for the engine and transmission. The end product was a Chevy pickup that would break the speedometer in a very short time.

Bruce was scared of this truck and eventually sold it to a young lad from Peru NY who promptly wrecked it the first month he had it. He failed to realize that a Chevy pickup with 472cubic inches of V8 over the front end does not lend itself to Ferrari-like handling and all that work was destroyed by Mr. Culvert and physics.
