in this day and age, boost is not a big deal for a daily driver. Look at all those 800+hp Supra's that drive like Camrys.

The S2000 fits me like a glove. And the engine spins backwards! (For a Honda, anyway)

i think the S2000 could've been better... don't get me wrong, it's a sweet car, but it just never had that panache that the Miata/MX5 had

I don't know what it is about the Miata. I mean, of course everyone says its a chick car, but I have never driven ANYTHING ( including a couple of exotics, don't ask) that feels like it. It just seems to be a extension of your body, rather than something you are controlling. The newer ones, for whatever reason, don't feel as soulful as the first gen. Anyone know what I mean? Trying to talk the wife into one, just so I can drive it

That car comes with a vagina.

believe it or not, despite me having a hard time getting in or out of it, the Pontiac Solstice was like that. It was very Miata-ish... and the GXP Turbo I drove had the balls to back it up.

2001 Suburban 2500 LT 4x4 with the 496 (8.1L) and 4L80E transmission

Yes its gigantic, yes it burns more gas in a week than most people use in a month but I love it.

I can load up 8 friends for a road trip and still have room for my dog or luggage, camera gear etc.

Also I love being able to tow 2 cars, a skidloader, my boat or anything else I care to hook on to and still go 80mph down the interstate.

In my SAR group, my friend Nick who works for the local school district as a teacher for Forestry and Firefighting Sciences he has a district issued vehicle for outreach services, which is a ex-USFS Chevy Suburban with the 454 and man, that thing is a beast.

He also has a school bus, a fire engine and a 5-Ton US Amry Truck at his disposal too

When they run, I have learned "bulletproof" does not always mean reliable. that said, I've spent about $50 total on engine troubles

I wish my pinstripe went all the way around. Stupid junkyard fender

you mean the subaru forester? I mean, they practically make it a selling point

"If a car can be shorthand for the lesbian community, that car is the Subaru Forester."

From http://www.gaywhee...baru_forrester.htm hahahahaha

"Best Lesbian Moving Van"

http://gaylife.abo...ews/a/cars2007.htm

I think of volvos as yuppie teacher/professor cars. Meatballs indeed
