sam take my advice, STAY AWAY its not a chevy, my woman has an optra, its a daewoo too, parts commonality is non exhistant on top of that not very robust, in 3 years shes spent about 2000$ on suspension. my mechanic said on a cavalier it would have been 600$ to do the same work, but on the cavalier half that shit wouldnt have happened.

Sam, if you looking to leave the Colbalt world, why not go all the way? Get a Subaru? Nothing wrong with having 2 cars, just make one the project. Make one the DD.

I still have the grand prix to fly down the highway in the summer, but my second hand 2005 mazda b4000 is the best buy ive ever had. Sam consider a second hand car, there are some goodies out there.

Know ya don't want a Honda Sam, but the Fit is a better car. You know this. How bout a Mazda 2? Honestly, you deserve better than a rebadged Daewoo.

My only advice to to you Samurai is that your will regret getting a cheap car like the Sonic. I regret not driving something I didn't feel right in while I was between the Caravan and the Jeep. You need to feel right in the car.
