It is a shame how quickly a wonderful house like this can be trashed. I am usually not an eye for an eye type but i would like to find who these people were that wrecked the place and do unto them a little damage. Maybe rip the hood scoop or spoiler of thier 89 sunbird
I would also like to mention that cowboy penner and Fedge have been very helpful and courteous to me. Providing information to me on items i have posted.Sure some people come running when they see a pretty face, it is human nature. But Chevy was obviously very interested in this house and had already done much exploring and searching for information.

Its unfortunately not entirely correct. Unless they added on, the house isnt that old. Bringing the obvious question...<b>where is/was the original Captain Trull homestead???</b>
Big deal, a girl wants help...we all started out needing help on here getting status. Obviously shes done research and shown interest in a local-favourite homestead. And her AV isnt seductive or anything. Weird man. Chill. And leave Cowboy and Fedge alone. Im not a cute girl and they are very helpful to me all the time.

The power's been cut for a few years now.
The house was sold in 2001 to a steel company. But there is obviously evidence of squatters living in the house... so unless the power was cut to chase them out?
It's possible I guess... I'm just really really interested in getting this house... my real estate agent is still at her cottage, but will be home tomorrow with hopefully some more information for me

I wouldn't mind, I am only 16 though, so nevermind. Ahh, anyways I've had my share of trips to the house. I hope you can purchase it, if you do i'd like to see how it looks after you fix it up.

Pretty cool place really, I wonder what the circumstances were of the previous occupant leaving all thier stuff there, it seems like the place must have been completely full with furniture and stuff when it was abandoned.
The next time I'm out there I think Il check out that tower, I didnt have a light the last time so I decided against it.

Anyone been to the Markham Museum??
That is a town that cares about their history and if the historical building cannot stay where it is...they pick it up the building and move it.
I wish I had the money to help save these houses.....

this is going to sound a little weird, but i feel like i just lost a friend.
my dad and i were so dead set on that, im still in disbeleive
we founbd out last night it was owned by an investment company, and they never sell anything. but we were still going to get it a landmark... i think someone knew we were digging and had it demolished before we could.. i feel so guilty...
i have to go see it for myself
then see if i can myself together well enough to go to work
