| | | Hey everyone, I'm from Phoenix, AZ, and recently learned more about urban exploring. I've heard of the term before, but I thought it only referred to more extreme exploring like going into subway tunnels and sneaking into Area 51. Didn't realize that roofing (rooftopping?) and draining were included. I haven't really done much UE before, but I always had a bit of an attraction to factories, train stations, drain tunnels, and probably above all (haha, get it?) going on roofs. I've already read up on a bunch of stuff on the forums and got some useful tips, so I'm gonna start exploring some more soon. I've already found a decent location to get to a roof, sadly it's not very high but it should be a decent start for a UE newbie like me. I wish there were more taller buildings around where I live. Anyways, have a good day everyone!

| | | "Alright, alright, alright." Let's do this introduction thing. I live in Texas, north of DFW area in a very small town. Growing up we learned quick that exploring was something fun to do in a town with nothing to do. I've gotten back into exploring more often of late. I ran across a group of like minded people on Facebook and I've enjoyed that group very much and learned about many cool and exciting places to explore. Some I've gotten to, some are still on the list. For me there is just nothing like the exhilaration of stepping into the quiet of an abandonment, eyes adjusting to the light, looking for the first thing to shoot with my Canon. Listening for footsteps, watching for dangers, and shooting shooting shooting. And then, I can't wait to get back home and process the pics and tell my urbex friends all about it! So that's pretty much me in a nutshell. Any other questions? Just message me. I'm fairly friendly and rarely bite.
| Exploring since I was a teen. Always looking for some "new" old abandonment to explore and photograph. Afraid of snakes, clowns and teethy animals. |

| | | Hey guys, I'm Kolt. I'm from Texarkana. Grew up here, always heard ghost stories about the Grim Hotel and other similar places in the area. I've been aware of Urban Exploring for a while now but never really got into it until recently when me and a few bored friends decided to go take pictures of a few places around town. I'm into airsoft and camping, so naturally I took to the danger and physical hardship of exploring rather quickly. I am looking to branch out and contact some local explorers so that I'm not forced to go alone in the event my normal group (who mostly kind of suck at refraining from breaking things, being discreet, dressing themselves, etc.) are unable to make it. In any case, I look forward to contributing some quality photos and even better stories here. If you're near me and feel like getting some food and possibly exploring some of the places around here that are still untouched by graffiti, vandalism, and security, hit me up!

| | | Hello everyone ! My name is Jessica. I've always had an interest for urban exploring. Only recently, have I started really exploring. I'm born and raised in NYC but I go to school in Rochester, NY. I do a lot of exploring in Rochester. I would love to start poke around in NYC but I'm waiting til I have more experience since it's a little more strict over there. Usually, I go with a couple of friends but it would be nice to meet other people around Rochester. Feel free to PM me if you would like to link up. I just started a youtube channel. If anyone is interested, here are some of my stuff: https://www.youtub...atch?v=5ASFqDj9bC4 (Incinerator Plant) https://www.youtub...atch?v=XxfX-CBS_7I (Insane Asylum) (I'm not sure if I'm allowed to post links of my videos but if it's against the rules, I'll remove it)

| | | Living in Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex, Texas First ever explore was an abandoned hippie hotel in 1995 since then almost 100 others - houses, restaurants, warehouses, grain mills, office buildings, hotels, resorts, schools, various retail establishments, 2 barns, 2 structures with significant fire damage, 2 horse racetracks, abandoned train cars, an abandoned neighborhood, a military hospital, an army barracks, a truck depot, a power plant, a meat packing plant, a mall, a water treatment plant, a mansion, a castle, a military fort, a church, a boat house & a new construction crane. I loved all of them. Most explores have been in Texas but have also been to locations in Connecticut, Hawaii, Massachusetts and New York. Planning two trips by year's end to Las Vegas and Colorado. Plenty of locations in the states I have yet to visit and would love to travel internationally at some point. Still learning the finer points of urbex photography but love documenting the places I've been. Very interested in historical information and finding old photos to compare with my visits. Have met a great group of fellow explorers in the D/FW area. I love seeing their photos and experiencing the explore from their point of view. Explore alone and in groups, just depends of where I'm going and who's available. First brush with the law was 2 days ago, it was not fun but I was allowed to leave after a complete search and stern warning. That's it for now, hope to meet some of you on future explores or at UE events. Safe travels!

| | | Hello! As you can see I'm from Poland, I live in one of the major cities - Wroclaw, albeit it cannot be even compared to the metropolises that are in US ;) (circa 700k ppl) I'm 25, and I started exploring about 3 years ago. For me UE is mostly about the thrill, adrenaline, and learning history of some of the places. I do not take photos, but guys who I'm usually exploring with shoot films ;) Since English isn't my first language I will be making mistakes, and I'm sure that I've already made some, so sorry for that, doing my best!
