| | | Hi there ! I'm from Montreal, Canada. I've been doing Urbex since 5-6 years in France before coming to Canada recently. I'm half an urbexer, half a photographer, I enjoy doing both. I can explore without doing any photos or do photos without exploring depending the places I visit. In Urbex I do trust the motto take only pictures leave only footprints. My very first exploration was the Metro SK in Paris. An amazing exploration that gave me the vibe of continuing urbex and doing researches of abandoned places. My thing is doing 360 photography, I love it when it's immersive. I have some (good ?) shots in Montreal and in Paris I will publish over the time. Here is an example : https://roundme.com/tour/550083I guess I'll post some 360 photos on my soon to be Instagram and on this forum if you want to. From now I had the opportunity to explore some nice places in Montreal with nice people and I'm constantly searching new people to meet and explore with. See you next time

| | | Hello all! I recently discovered that this community existed and wanted to join in! I have been on and off exploring for ~2 years, but nowhere as cool as some of the places I see on here. I'm hoping to take it to the next level and find some really nice spots, even if I don't have the best camera

| | | Hello everyone, my name is Ben and I'm very excited to delve into the realm of urbex. I am 18 years old, and some of you might be thinking I should be doing other stuff than spend my time in abandon buildings, or at least that's what my parents tell me haha. I'm agile since I try to stay active and outside in my youth, I also have wayyyy too much free time on my hands. I find this a perfect combo for exploration. And I guess I've always had the heart for it too. I live in South Carolina and when I was about 12 or something, I started to notice this very run down property that my mom drove by on the way to school. I thought it would be absolutely amazing to explore it, unfortunately the city demolished it sometime before this passion of mine really kicked off. Whenever it was still around though, I would get inspired and start researching abandoned and urbex videos on youtube. That's where it all began, the rest is history. I never really acted on this passion until last summer when I got a small group of my close friends to go exploring with me. I made sure that they knew not to take or damage anything (I was very familiar with the etiquette of urbex at this point). As soon as we completed that first exploration, i was already addicted. I've been to maybe 20+ places so far, some as big as factories or schools, and some as small as a house in the forest. Nonetheless I found a new hobby, but unfortunately, finding new locations has been quite rough since I've already exhausted all avenues to find them. Now I spend a few hours a week looking through Google Maps or just aimlessly driving around, but the more places I find, the more sparse they seem to be. But I am determined and won't quit because I know that there are so many buildings left to find, I just have to look in the right places. Well that's my backstory and im sure the majority of you guys have heard very similar ones before. so if you've read this far, thanks for reading! I hope to become a very active member on this forum and hopefully meet up with a few of you to go exploring. I wish I found out about this forum earlier but I'm happy to be here now. Have fun exploring guys !

| | | Hello! My name is Syn, I live in Texas and I am new to this site. I remember always having the nerve and thirst to explore ever since I was young. I recall a memory of how I once repelled down the side of a 12ft waterfall, which so happened to be near my neighborhood, via the use of a homemade climbing rope (which was actually a converted jump rope) that I tied to a metal stick (which was part of a small security fence to keep people from doing exactly what I was doing) as my extremely protesting brother spotted me at my behest. Later that day, he had said that this little excursion was dangerous, and all though I agreed, I remember telling him verbatim, "You can't quench my thirst for adventure," with a straight face as an 8 year old! Well, I was right about myself even then, my thirst hasn't been quenched and now, as an adult I have even more tools to actually accomplish my drive to explore!
