I'm a member of the church of St. Agnostia; always question but never follow on blind faith alone.

I was baptised and raised Roman Catholic, but now I'm a lost soul. I have no religion. I do believe in peace, love, unity and respect but don't confuse me for a hippie or E-tard raver.

I was raised roman catholic, by a very very catholic family. Ive since completely abandoned catholicism, i do think its a beautiful religion like all are, but ive decided that im am not a believer and wasnt for me. Lately ive been studying eastern religion which i feel is much more suitable and im starting to truly believe, mainly buddhism and taoism.

Moral relativism works well in religion, despite what some might say.

Raised Christian.
Now I'm a Buddhist but I've often been told that I'm a better Christian than most Christians.

Don't believe them. The only Christian who's better than most Christians is Christ. I understand he's been dead for a few years.

I've changed my mind: now I'm purely an animist. Rocks and trees and rivers and beetles (even Beatles) and dog shit and meteors and sun spots and zits and snot and dirty underwear all have souls.

Dick Cheney, however. That's another story.

Of course you are. Except for the whole ... Christ thing ;)

I'm Buddhist.

BTW, for most people, Buddhism itself is regarded more as a spirituality than a religion. The reason for that is because in the United States and now in most of the rest of the world, the word "religion" refers directly to SOME sort of creator god. However, there is a fairly newer clause in dictionaries, usually, that refers to "religion" itself as a living spiritually in the ways which are taught by a spiritual leader. Buddha definitely is a spiritual leader, but by no means a god.

Just in case anybody needed clearing up. Oh, and only a few Buddhists believe in a god. Most Buddhist denominations do not believe in a god altogether (though lay Buddhists are encouraged to believe in what makes them happy), some still do). Me, for instance -- I believe in a very different sort of "god" than any other religion teaches. It is what I have come to believe and conclude from my latest stint on Earth.

http://www.buddhanet.net/ if anyone is interested, is awesome.

Love,
Em

I was raised in the Presbyterian church, so that you could call my 'religion' however my lifestyle, I like to consider people see me as Christian through my actions towards other, and I try to follow Christ's example in my life.
