The Urban Adventure Site -

The stunning and brilliant Botanic Gardens station in Glasgow, Scotland. Perhaps the most beautiful abandoned underground rail station in the world.
The also impressive London Road (Bridgeton) station in Glasgow. This no longer used platform lies within easy access of the road beneath which it runs. It is a very atmospheric site.
More Glasgow rail tunnels. The tunnel from Stobcross (Exhibition Center) to Kelvinbridge. Former stomping ground of the Milk Crate Gang. A very overgrown and wet series of rail tunnels and cuttings.
The Paris Metro was also another underground railway system with several abandoned and disused underground statations. One of which featured a car on the platform! Includes pictures and video of the stations.
Cincinnati in Ohio has a very little known subway system that was intended to be the answer to the city's transport problems early in the 20th Century. Though built, the tunnels were never used. Stations 1 and 2 of the line.
Station 3 of the abandoned Cincinnati subway in the most interesting of the 4 abandoned underground stations. It was converted into a makeshift nuclear bunker but in reality would have been quite a poor substitute for a real bunker.
The end of the line for the abandoned Cincinnati subway is this large 3 platform station. A huge underground space that is seldomly visited.
The disused Charleroi light rail system in Belgium features many abandoned stations and tunnels. We visited four. Chet is an abandoned elevated station.
Pensee is an abandoned ground level station on the Charlerroi railway.
Centenaire is an abandoned underground station on the Charleroi railway
Champeau is the final abandoned rail station we visited in Belgium.
While in Newark I visited the Kresge abandoned subway station on the Cedar Street subway. This dark and seldom visited underground station was not what I expected, having shop display windows and abandoned furniture in place.
A walk through the UA City Subway One amazing night I went on an all night trip through the UA City rail tunnels with some mates. We explored abandoned rail tunnels, an underground lake and old tram tunnels. Part 2 Part 3
Virtual tour of an underground station Back when I first started exploring some friends and I explored this still active UA City rail station.
Rail shunter ride I was once offered a ride on a rail shunter, and too the opportunity to help out a mate. But this was still a great adventure.
Rust on the Rail - A new tour of abandoned railways A collection of several pages featuring old abandoned railway lines in the country way out from UA City. Very atmospheric images. Lots of old abandoned track, loading bays and bridges.
The Rail Yard. An massive rail yard with many interesting images. Lots of old rolling stock lies moldering away along with a lot of old trucks and cranes.
The old tunnel An old abandoned rail tunnel on a now long lost rail line
The Rail Car. A burnt out prototype rail car.
Abandoned London Underground Stations Mostly text based information I have on some abandoned rail stations I visited as a kid.
