I took your advice. Kind of. I poked a tiny hole in it with a staple. Waiting to see how long it takes to fully deflate.

ROFL, although a staple hole may not be big enough. if the skin is thick enough any pressure will close the tiny hole.

Pulling a 14 hour day. I work in an office, overtime doesn't exist. My eyes are so blurry I can't even enjoy reading some UER threads

lol... try being STUCK on a 16 hour shift. Where I work, if your relief doesn't show, and the shift leader doesn't get anyone on a callout, you be stuck.

Yesterday I was condescendingly lectured on not doing a battery warranty 3 times by the same guy. No one ever wants to train people properly, help people when they need help, or show someone how to do something. So I am just supposed to magically figure out how to do a battery warranty when I get yelled at when I ask for help and when I finally do get the help they tell me to do it wrong.

So I said I was was told to do it the way I did it. The person that helped me was talked to and they said "Well I assumed she'd figure out the rest since she's been here a while."

I HAVE NEVER DONE A BATTERY WARRANTY IN MY LIFE. Everything is so fucking illogical and done in 10 different ways at CTC I have no idea how to guess what to do. THAT IS WHY I ASKED FOR HELP.

Yelled at if I do ask for help, yelled at if I don't, yelled at if I try to figure something out, etc.

I *REALLY* hope I get this other job on Monday. Fuck this place and all the shitty, backstabbing, gossipy people in this hellhole company.

Time to go drive almost an hour in rush hour traffic across Toronto to go to this stupid job.

Ok, that sucks and is total BS. I take it there is nothing that can be done without shooting yourself in the foot?

What is it you do again?

Without you my job would be pointless. I'm in publishing.

Is a 16hr shift regular for you??

Seems like no matter what job we do, we all get the shit end of the stick in some way.

Sinus headache and my ear problem causing me dizzyness so badly that sitting up is a chore and being at 5 absences. One of them I had a doctor's note for.

I probably will just call off anyway, because I don't feel well and getting stuck for a 16 because there's a big ass storm coming to the Albany area doesn't exactly make me all that happy as it is.

It's not my relief's fault, he can't help it, but after the past few days, I have had just about enough of that place and the people in it.

I just wish I felt better.

I can't believe this actually needed to be done, but after two families tried, I put up a sign that said this:

"Dear (town),
Please stop bringing your kids in here for candy. This is a porn shop and NOT a place for children!!
Sincerely,
(our store)"

It never ends. *explodes in rage*

Why exactly do you carry candy?

I mean, the sort of candy that children would eat...

Oh good, my slow clap processor made it into this thing.

At work this morning there are a ton of fruit flies circling my monitor. My coworkers need to stop leaving out banannas. I'm trying to snatch them out of the air - no one can see the flies so to an observer it looks like I'm flailing at air.

We don't carry candy for kids. It's a porn shop. You would think it would be common sense for people to not bring their kids trick or treating there, but apparently not.
