Unrelated-TTPMOaW: When balls decide to go "fuck this" without any explanation, and I gotta go fish them out.

I had to explain to my boss why I got mad a couple weeks ago about having to change places with an idiot at work and refused to change places with him.

I told him it was because I felt the idiot was being rewarded for not doing what he should be doing. That's why I got mad. I further told him that the idiot was being allowed to go back to the lower paying job for the same money because he didn't run the winder adequately enough. He's scheduled, he's senior, he's qualified and it's his place, not mine, at least right now it isn't mine.

My boss thought I just didn't like the rewinder...which is the furthest thing from the truth. It has nothing to do with the job, it's having to clean up after people who don't want to or can't do the job. It's not the job.

If I have a chance to freeze on the fucking job, I would. I told him that too. I like running the winder. I can do the job. Just leave me alone and I'll do it, for as long as they want me to.

Grrr.

There are a few things that will cause it, but I'm stumped on this one. The same thing happened again last week, on the same lane, by apparently the same bowler, but with a different ball.

I sent her ball through the machine several times after finding it, and there was nothing wrong with the ball return track and mechanism. I had the pro shop check her ball and everything was legal by USBC standards; sometimes people will illegally-drill and fill their ball to throw it off-balance so (I guess) it hooks better, which was our theory, but that isn't the case.

I work at a freight shipping warehouse where we work mostly with Philips and Daybright which are lighting companys. mainly Office and outdoors. I'm in the assembly area where we put Ballasts, lights and connect the wiring depending on what order. A month ago we got an order for 700 SHE light units, Which are a pain in the ass, but to put the frosting on the cake they required sensors so loads of hammering and hole punching too.

They fired the front line worker, so now I get the joys of drilling the holes and screwing in the ballasts and sensor. I've already developed a nasty RSI from constantly hammering out pieces in the units. It's been the same thing every day 9 hours a day 5 days a week for the past month and a bit, and were ONLY HALF DONE! Agh

Also they ONLY every play the country music station which is somewhat tolerable but christmas country is insufferable. If I hear Leroy The Redneck Reindeer one more time....

I just learned today that one of my coworkers literally has the reading comprehension of a fourth-grader. He's 22. I'm not at all surprised.

One of my friends used to tell me having an AA degree is something - since the majority of people don't even have that. I never really believed him, until I looked up the statistics for the community college I was attending. The graduation rate was 18% and a the transfer rate was 16%. I instantly felt like genius after that hahaha

I hate winter break... haven't accomplished shit all week due to crowds.

The bitch manager at work! I'm off on 10minutes then this cunt comes up front and asks me to do this and do that! Like I've got an entire 2-hours to kill.

So anyway, when she asked me I was helping a customer and couldn't just drop everything. Then another customer came in and while helping this customer this dumb cunt comes up to me no less than 5 minutes later and asks "did you get such and such done?" I say no I've been helping customers; and she goes well I'll stay up here and go take care of it .... um okay. I walk to the bathroom wait 5 minutes and clock out.

I'm on a special project at work, something that had to be approved by the facility manager, as this could take a few months.

What pisses me off is that people are spying on me, not my bosses or the people I'm doing this project for, other people, people who I thought were my friends.

I'm sorry I'm on day shift for I don't know how long and that it could be two or three months, it could be longer, I don't know.

I'm sorry I took one fucking class at the local community college where I learned how to do this shit and that I can write the shit they want and you fucking can't. I'm sorry I spent years where I previously worked writing the shit they want me to and can do it quickly. I'm sorry that I learned in 11th grade social studies the right way to construct an essay and you didn't...just leave me and my shit the fuck alone.

Don't run to the people I'm working for and bitch that I'm working with my Ipod on turned up very loudly just trying to keep myself halfway sane. Don't look at me like I'm lazy and not doing anything when I've already handed in 200 pages that day from the previous days and spent half the fucking day before taking photographs of your job site so that you maybe can do your job a little better and a little safer. Don't bitch that I bring my android tablet everywhere because I use it as my notebook. Don't ask why I get weekends off because even at home, I'm thinking about the shit I have to do on Monday morning to meet a deadline that's in two months that I'm scared I won't make because I don't want to let anyone down.

And lastly, don't bitch that that you haven't seen me all day, I'm working on writing another 200 fucking pages.

So, it's 3:15, 45 minutes before I get off work. It's been a busy day at the thrift store, but we can still accommodate most donations.

Then up pulls a pickup with a 20-foot trailer FULL of donations. Enter Cletus and Orville the Yokel Brothers. Apparently their mother died, and this was some of the stuff in her home, and she was a hoarder.

We managed to fill up about four of those big fabric donation bins, just with stuff from this trailer. And what do you know, it was mostly junk. The boxes were falling apart. Stuff was moldy. Stuff was covered in rat shit. Thanks, Cletus and Orville!

Now, our dumpster has two wooden gates in front of it, which are locked whenever it isn't in use (since the neighborhood isn't the best). So we wheeled a couple of the bins full of donations toward the dumpster, and started putting anything remotely non-shitty in a separate bin. 80% of the stuff from the first two bins went in the dumpster.

And then, to put the fucking icing on the cake, all three managers come out at once. The head manager berates us for having the doors open while we are tossing stuff, explaining that customers might mistake it for their donations being thrown away (since evidently they're too stupid to know better). So we stop throwing stuff away and put it straight into the metal cages, to be stacked for inventory.

Except for the box full of medicines. I threw that right the fuck away.

I had a bitch at work blow up at me yesterday because I needed to go down and take some photos of her operating line. She thought that she should be doing what I'm doing on this project instead of me. So She decided to run to the nearest manager and start screaming that I crossed the boundary line around her line without her permission and that she wasn't going to give it to me so that I could take photos for what I'm working on. Then she started screaming at me that I didn't have permission. I was so angry that I was shaking when I walked away from her.

I'm tired of people who are pissed off because the company and the management asked me to do what I'm doing and other people weren't.

I'm sorry my name was on the project form. I'm sorry that some of the shit the plant manager got was in my handwriting.

I'm just starting to get burned out and it's only been 2 weeks.

This is why I won't take a management job. I don't have the stomach or the armored skin for it anymore.

It isn't that I can't do it. It's that I can't physically take the bullshit anymore. I would be dead inside of 10 years.

I took the job I have to keep my sanity and to keep my blood pressure manageable. I do my job and do it well. Probably too well.

Okay so this is pretty simple! I have class Mondays and Wednesdays thus I need those days off. Before enrolling for the spring semester I ask my boss if there will be an issue if I enroll in these classes since one starts at 6:30am. I didn't want to sign up and have it not be possible. He says, "no problem just print out your schedule". For the past two months I've had Mondays and Tuesdays off. So all they needed to do was schedule someone else for Wednesdays not that hard especially with 4 hour shifts.


Anyway, two weeks before the semester starts I print out my schedule and inform them again just too reiterate my needs. You'd think printing a schedule would be good enough right? nope!

I check my schedule for next week and see I'm working both days - the fuck?. So I talk to my boss this morning and guy says, "oh I though that was just for one week". Apparently I should've printed out 16 fucking schedules one for each week. Soooooooo tired of working with idiots!

Well, the idiotic midget kleptomaniac kid is gone from my work, for fucking off during his shift and stealing furniture.

The guy who almost electrocuted himself with a plugged-in lamp is also apparently gone, as of today. No clue why. I enjoyed having him around (although he could be an idiot at times).

Who knows how longer I'll be employed there? I try to stay out of trouble, but don't always succeed.

Would be a blessing in disguise that this idiot is gone. He could easily electrocute or otherwise maim or kill you or any of your co-workers.

Me, I`m going in on Monday to hopefully get my pay. Couldn`t get into work this past week as there was no money for fuel since my cheque bounced (9th in 10 months). I suspect I`ll be fired as I freaked on my boss last week.

As for co-workers, one nearly burned my face when he was refilling a heat gun with butane. As usual, he overfilled it and then without warning, there was a huge fireball. Turned out he didn`t turn the damn thing off prior to refilling it. Blargh!

I didn't think it was physically possible, but some idiot managed to take out a masking unit (the decorative graphics that hide the pinsetter) with a bowling ball - big dent in the graphics, and the metal frame is all bent-up. Fuck I hate spring break.

Having more availability as the semester comes to an end, but instead of working normal length shifts (such as 8-5), I'm getting the same amount of hours but spread over the entire week into stupid short little shifts. It takes me almost an hour to drive across Toronto to get there.

Our new manager also only picks on me and bothers me about what I'm doing if I take a minute to rest and grab a drink...but all the guys can just stand at the counter and do nothing all day. I've asked a few of them if it's just me or if they see it too and they do.
