I wish I knew. Honestly.
| Soil science is the study of soil as a natural resource on the surface of the earth including soil formation, classification and mapping; physical, chemical, biological, and fertility properties of soils; and these properties in relation to the use and management of soils.[1] Sometimes terms which refer to branches of soil science, such as pedology (formation, chemistry, morphology and classification of soil) and edaphology (influence of soil on organisms, especially plants), are used as if synonymous with soil science. The diversity of names associated with this discipline is related to the various associations concerned. Indeed, engineers, agronomists, chemists, geologists, physical geographers, ecologists, biologists, microbiologists, sylviculturists, sanitarians, archaeologists, and specialists in regional planning, all contribute to further knowledge of soils and the advancement of the soil sciences. Soil scientists have raised concerns about how to preserve soil and arable land in a world with a growing population, possible future water crisis, increasing per capita food consumption, and land degradation.[2]

| Looks like it. Also, I have my own beef with bosses... Last night, there was a note by the time clock when I went in, telling me to switch jobs with another worker. I can do the job, but my full classification is not rewinder operator, this other worker is. Well, I spent all night the night before helping him run the machine. Which is fine, I don't mind that, I do that for anybody running the machine, I've spent a enough time working on it alone to know just about anyone needs help. Last night, one idiot of a boss wanted me to swap places with him and run the winder because I'm the "better operator", basically I don't fuck around and get shit done. This other guy fucks off all shift and doesn't do much. Anyway, I said no fucking way, I refuse to do it on the grounds of the other guy is qualified, same as I am, he's senior to me and scheduled back there. I'm sorry he's lazy and he's succeeded in proving what kind of an idiot he is by getting kicked out of other departments. I'm sorry that management hasn't managed to dump him on another department, but it is not my job to pick up his slack. Also, I refuse to let this piece of shit waste of flesh work my job, which pays about 19 an hour, for rewinder operator rate, which is 21 dollars an hour or so, while I have to do his job. The one he knows how to do and should be doing, instead of making management feel sorry for him, so they baby him and coddle him by giving this piece of shit anything he fucking wants. I mean, I even had one manager tell me that he's "overwhelmed" and needs extra help. Bullshit. This fucking turd is getting away with murder. He should be disciplined, but no...they give him what he wants. If I did half the shit he's done, I'd have been fired by now. Honestly, I hope they fucking suspend me, I could use the vacation.
