| | | Posted by zipper the amount of bullshit you have to go through to get a goddamn passport, I drove all the way down there to find out I still need a copy of my marriage certificate AND divorce certificate. On top of that, birth certificate & license & paperwork. Why the hell do these people not tell you this on the phone when you set the appointment!!?
| Oh man I just got this done recently. First, the website gave me the wrong info. The post office I went to closed 2 hours earlier than the site said it would. Should have called. Went to another post office, but they only take appointments. Again, site was wrong and I should have called. I went to a third post office and called before I went. I filled out the papers, but the woman who was going to process them was such an unbelievable cunt that I took my shit and walked out. So, the FOURTH post office I went to looked at the papers the third gave me and said, "Oh... these are the old forms. Who gave you these?" Apparently if I had submitted the old forms, my passport would have taken an extra few weeks to get back to me. I needed my passport by the beginning of August so that could not have happened. So finally everything was sent out. Four trips, an angry call to the corporate office, and $150 later...

They should be paying ME $150 to get all this running around / hassle done ... On top of that I still gotta buy the damn plane ticket LOL.. Another $700... This is going to be the most deserved vacation EVER!
