After replying to her saying I was there and what we covered (with my boss CC'd on, I received this heartfelt response back from her:

I'm still pissed though...

When you offer an elderly customer a service plan saying it will cover them for x amount of time and they respond, "Oh I might not even be alive by then!"

How the fuck do you respond to that?

OMG tell me about it! We have to offer financial planners to members with a lot of dough, in the hopes that we'll get a referral out of them. But when it's an old member, 9 times out of 10 they'll go, "Well how much longer do you think I'm going to live, anyway?" It fucking sucks. I never want to get old.

Talk about awkward... I've actually had tenants die, and their family come to pick up their stuff at the storage place. They have to present a death certificate to get the stuff. I always feel weird asking somebody for proof that their family member actually died.

My boss, I work in the IT department of a school district. When an administrator comes into the office he is all laughing and joking and as nice as can be. when they leave and he talks to one of us he's disagreeable and confrontational. It's disgusting.

Asshole: "I don't understand why everyone doesn't have a blackberry!"

Me: "They're expensive and so are the monthly plans"

Asshole: "No way they're cheap these days and $90 a month is nothing"

Me: "Yeah? I can barely afford to eat. And if they're so cheap why don't you buy me one?"

Useless, rich, inconsiderate, pompous, fucking FUCK! God I hate these people. This guy was worse than the one who said, "If you have to ask, you can't afford it" When I asked the 7-11 guy how much an icecream sandwich was. WTF PEOPLE!

Bingo! Yup, I got that at work. One time it was from some lawyer who tried to bum $35 off of me so he could park his brand new Mercedes in a better garage. After smothering the laugh and obscenities I wanted to give out, I told him with a straight face that I don't have that kind of cash.

And for that "If you have to ask..." statement, I would ask "And what are you hiding?"

Wow people are ridiculous. I'm really bad at hiding my disgust for people. I just wanted to get my ice cream sandwich and get out of there. If I spoke up, it probably would have caused more of a headache. Arguing with morons never ends well.

Same here.

Another thing that pisses me off about work: How they change the store hours with no notice whatsoever. Like in during the holidays when we'd be closing at 9, but then an hour before we got out a text would come in saying, "Nope! close at 11!"

where i work, you can't leave until your relief shows up. According to our contract you can punch in between (day shift) 6:20am and 7am for your shift. Having decency, you show up on the hour or maybe 5 after, so you can brief with the guy you are relieving so you know what's going on with the day. It's just being smart.
There are four crews where I work: A, B, C, and D. I work on D-crew. My relief on B crew is a flaming asshole... he comes strolling in at 6:40-6:45am always with some stupid excuse. Basically, what it comes down to is his lazy ass just can't get out of bed on time...
My attitude is, you want to know what's going on, get here on time. When he pulls this fashionably late shit, I punch out and walk. Fuck you very much... have a good time figuring out any issue you Hadji looking motherfucker.

Ah yes, gotta love those morons eh?

Another one is when I've spent 10 minutes giving directions (during numerous interruptions from the idiot), the idiot goes in the opposite direction and then complains to the manager that either I didn't want to help or I deliberately gave wrong directions.

I bite my tongue so I don't say:

"Then shut your yap, open your ears and listen asshole! Oh and while we're at it, put down that f**king cellphone as well!!!"

Another good one I get is the idiot would then say "You don't know what you're talking about.", walks away, gets lost and then complains.

Aw heck! I have to go in tomorrow and I'm not too pleased about that. Think I'll sign off and enjoy the rest of this evening with Shutterbug.
