Everything is pretty much double what it would be in a normal store. Example: disposable camera = $17.99. Don't fucking ask me to lower the price of a locker rental, i can't. I have absolutely nothing to do with the prices of shit, i just show up and attempt to not strangle someone. And what the fuck? You buy a $50 bathing suit for yourself when you are spending one day at a waterpark. Are you not aware that the temperature is not the same outside as it is inside? Are you fucking stupid? And one more thing, you fat pig cunt, don't fucking tell me "the girl who was here the other day was alot nicer than you". You are a waste, you brought your dog into a waterpark, and i fucking hate my job, don't make it worse.

Oh dear god. I feel for you. People need to realize that saying, "The other person was a lot nicer" is a guaranteed way to make situations a whole lot worse.

Yet another thing that pisses me off at work: When you make food at home and leave the leftovers for the next day so you wont have to waste money by buying shit, then the fridge breaks in the middle of the night and it all goes bad and you're stuck with no food, no money, and a breakroom that smells horribly rancid. Sigh.

Currently closing the video rental store I work at.

Questions that piss me off:

"Why are y'all closing?" - Seriously? Cause it sounds fun and unemployment pays better...

"Are you still renting?" - We are closing, wouldn't make sense to rent you
something seeing that you won't return it because we won't be here.

"Can you cut me a deal?" - I don't know you, and even if I did, NO! The movies are cheap as dirt and I need my last paycheck.

I guess it boils down to stupid people who don't have a slight understanding of business.

Oh and yesterday statement:

somewhere around that price..but you can always just pay the 35 dollars to get into just the waterpark, then purchase a $7 locker rental, plus food, plus parking. Its great, it really is.

Because they don't feel like opening up their personal life to some anonymous cashier. They either need it or they don't. There could be one of a million reasons why the don't need it. They just don't feel like telling you that reason as it's none of your business.

i hate slack-ass individuals that drag ass on a project for more than a year sticking me in a dead-end system maintenance doing virtually nothing. work i used to love, turned into nothing but 8 hours of boredom. i want the fuck out.

yesterday at work, we lost a gasket on the oil set heat exchanger line... result? Blew #6 bunker fuel everywhere. Luckily we caught it in time and managed to localize the damage to the oil set room (this is the oil we use to fire the lime kiln in our recaustization section). So some guys voluntarily stayed last night to clean it up. I didn't want to as I had something to do with Shael last night. Anyways, I am in the lab this morning, sorting through some fucked up test results when in walks Peter. Peter is the sort-of supervisor for the weekend. He tells me that I have to stay four hours tonight to help clean up what was left of the oil. If I refused, it would be a write-up and there would disciplinary action. As you can probably tell, I don't respond well to threats.

So, I call Shael and ask her about our contract... she says that his ass is sucking canal water and that I cannot be made to stay if my relief shows. So I call over to the pulp mill (where I normally work- I just fill in schedule holes in Recaust). They tell me to call our union rep... so I do. As I am calling Dom, another rep (an electrician i had spoken to earlier in the day) is on the phone with our union vice prez... the shit is hitting the fan over this.

So, make a long story, i didn't have to stay and the sort-of manager id going to get his ass jacked over thia.

People that "used to work in a bank" and "know how it works," and therefore ask the most obnoxious questions every step of the way as if they are entitled to know or will comprehend what I'm doing every step of the goddamn way. "What's my credit score?" "What's that form for?" And the best, "Well what's the problem?"

If it's something you really need to know or something I can explain in under two minutes without having to explain the bowels of our system and why it won't just "let me do that," I will tell you, I promise.

Assholes who figure they can dictate to me who to hire and who to fire. Last week I had someone demanding I fire a guard because he claimed the guard threatened him.

I have a hard time believing the guy because he kept changing his story. I believe he's a bit pissed off because it was made clear to him he doesn't have special privileges any more. T.F.B.!!!
